The efficient and economical workstation is specifically designed to provide a small bench mounted unit with unrestricted access for those operations that are difficult to perform in a conventional fume hood

The downflow action takes the contaminated air away from the operator

Lightweight and completely portable units feature the following: low airflow alarm, 80 f/m face velocity, whisper quiet 52 dBA brushless and sparkless centrifugal fan, open front and sides for easy viewing, patented clamp that totally eliminates any bypass leakage, and an electrostatic pre-filter

Requires no ducting or installation costs; can be placed on any benchtop

Units operate at low noise levels (52 dBA) and because they recirculate, they do not exhaust expensive conditioned and/or heated air into the atmosphere

Units are epoxy-coated steel, white in color with a Polypropylene spill tray

19 working height allows easy access to equipment

Alarm sounds when airflow falls to an unacceptable level

Face velocity of 80 f/m ensures containment of fumes and particulates for operator safety

Stainless steel tray is removable for easy cleaning and to provide access to the pre-filter

Choice of main filters include: carbon filter for solvents, alcohols, and organics; HEPA filter for particulate filtration; or a combined carbon/HEPA filter (Note: a main filter is needed in addition to the pre-filter)

Filters generally need to be changed annually, depending on what chemicals are being used and how much is being evaporated into the filter. If needed, an application check list providing this information can be filled out by the operator and can be analyzed to predict very closely what the actual filter lifetime will be.

When the pre-filter needs to be changed, the operator will be alerted by the low airflow alarm

Unit has a main on/off switch and runs on 110V, 60Hz single phase

Exceeds OSHA, ANSI, and all relevant international standards
