Digital Geiger Counter with Internal Tube and External Wand

The GCA-07W is a certifiably accurate radiation detection instrument suitable for use in the laboratory, classroom and industry.

• Detects and measures Alpha, Beta, X-ray and Gamma Radiation
• Each radioactive particle detected produces an audible click to indicate the presence and strength of radiation. Audio output may be turned on and off.
• Listen to the audio output using external headphones attached to the 3.5 mm jack socket. (Headphones not included)
• Enjoy a simiple, intuitive and easy-to-use interface.
• Selectable one second or one minute measurement duration to allow both Counts Per Second (CPS) and Counts Per Minute (CPM). CPM measurement is suitable for background radiation measurements.
• CPS and CPM measurements are read on first line. Equivalent radiation is calculated on second line. Readable in low light conditions using High Contrast LCD Screen's backlight.

External Wand

The external Geiger Counter Wand has the same technical specifications as the internal tube, but provides more functionality and ease of use. The wand has a thin mica window that allows the detection of alpha radiation as well as beta, and gamma radiation. A shielded cable connects the wand to a mini din plug.
