To study linear Expansion of metals. This apparatus makes teaching easy and fast. The expansion is visible quickly on the dial gauge. Consists of a metal tube / jacket, which is the steam chamber, in which a metal rod is inserted, when steam is passed the rod expands and the expansion is measured on the dial gauge. The heat jacket has three inlet tubes for water intake, outlet, and thermometer insertion.

Supplied complete with 4 metal rods- Aluminum, Steel, Copper, and Brass. Length x Diameter: 23.5 x 0.24 Inch (600 x 6mm)

The unit measures 28 x 4 x 0.8 Inch (720 x 100 x 20mm)
