Loop The Loop Graduated

To demonstrate and study transformation of potential energy into kinetic energy. Consists of a V shape metal track approx. 54 inch (137mm) long, with the highest point being 19 inch (480mm) high, which is formed into a loop approx. dia. 7.68 inch (195mm), fitted on to a wooden base 16 inch (405mm) x 4 inch (100mm) x 0.79 inch (20mm). Supplied with a mountable 360 deg. graduated metal disc 7.5 inch (190mm) dia. Supplied complete with two steel balls 0.75 inch (19mm) dia., and 0.63 inch (16mm) dia. The long arm is graduated 0 to 45cm x 1mm. When the ball is let go at the top it has enough energy to travel the whole length of the track. The end of the track has a sack to catch the ball.
