Compound Bi-Metal Bar

It consists of a bi-metallic strip mounted on a wooden handle. Bi-metal is an alloy of two metals which when heated bend in a particular direction depending upon the metals used, because of different co-efficient of expansion. This principle and bi-metal strip is used in many products like thermostats, etc.
